2004 Old Tea Tree Pu’er (Shou)$19.00–$154.00
This natural fermented Pu’er tea was handcrafted in Yunnan Province, the birth place of tea in the world. The leaves are collected from the old, tall Pu’er tea trees, lending greater “chi”; this is said to make the tea very long lasting, smooth and milky, more so than teas made from younger trees.

The liquor aroma is honeyed with notes of black currant and apricot, delivering a smooth and full mouthfeel right from the start. One may detect hints of fruit, wood and even fresh melon.
