2004 Old Tea Tree Pu’er (Shou)$19.00–$154.00
This natural fermented Pu’er tea was handcrafted in Yunnan Province, the birth place of tea in the world. The leaves are collected from the old, tall Pu’er tea trees, lending greater “chi”; this is said to make the tea very long lasting, smooth and milky, more so than teas made from younger trees.

The leaf style is a very classic Assam, and the very desirable TGFOP grade, a whole leaf that will deliver the bold flavours that are Assam’s calling card, while allowing the tea’s more subtle characteristics to come through. The liquor aroma is honeyed with notes of black currant and apricot, delivering a smooth and full mouthfeel right from the start. One may detect hints of fruit, wood and even fresh melon.

Gunpowder Green 2nd Flush$6.00–$82.00
Gunpowder green tea is believed to have been produced for over 1000 years and was named by the British due to the leaf’s resemblance to the gunpowder pellets used in their cannons. Gunpowder green has a strong and lightly smokey vegetal taste and dry, astringent finish. It makes a refreshing afternoon tea, and it may store longer than other greens because of its compressed shape.
