Oolong teas have been permitted to partially oxidize, ranging from approximately 20-80% oxidation. There are seemingly endless styles and varieties of oolongs available from a number of origins and ranging from very light to very dark, each very unique in character and flavour! Please enjoy these selections:
Empress Ginseng Oolong$8.00 – $26.00Rated 4.00 out of 5
This unique, premium oolong is coated in ginseng powder, hand rolled and dry roasted. It is a popular Chinese tonic, as combining oolong with the longevity herb, ginseng, produces a vibrant health and energy drink. Each sip leaves a surprisingly sweet finish that lingers at play with the smooth oolong taste. Be sure to give this oolong a very quick rinse, and steep multiple times for short steeps, and revel in a different experience each time!
Milky Oolong$12.00 – $93.00Rated 5.00 out of 5
Beautifully aromatic, this premium milk oolong is as beautiful to smell as it is to taste! From the Wuyi Mountains, Fujian China, this tea produces a light coloured infusion of greenish tinge, with a smooth, creamy taste and a delightful hint of orchid!
Mineral Rock Wuyi Mountain Oolong$12.00 – $98.00
This traditional long oxidized Wuyi oolong exhibits the classic dark curly tea leaves and has a smooth, rich body with a roasted aroma and sweet finish. Rich mineral character, co-mingled with a hint of fruity fragrance, and a final finish of toasted bread.
Red Heart Goddess (Premium Tieguanyin) (organic)$23.00 – $45.00
We’re delighted to offer this exceptional traditional “Iron Goddess of Mercy” oolong, grown from the region’s most desirable “red heart” cultivar. Unlike it’s newer tieguanyin counterparts, this traditional style tieguanyin boasts a ‘frog leg’ leaf shape rather than semi-balled, is longer oxidized and intentionally roasted unlike its newer style Goddess counterparts. The result is more intensely floral aromas and even slightly nutty experience. This oolong is exceptionally manufactured and can be enjoyed in many, short infusions, making it a beautiful value as well as the one of the best oolongs you’ll ever try.
Wen Shan Bao Zhong Premium Oolong$10.00 – $33.00Rated 5.00 out of 5
This premium oolong tea is a Taiwanese classic and some say, one of the original teas produced in this region. The emerald green, twisted leaves are lightly oxidized, lending definite vegetal green tea character with the distinct floral aroma and flavour notes that oolong tea drinkers love and expect. In the cup you’ll enjoy a very delicate infusion with floral hints of lily and lilac.
Wuyi (Shui Xian) Oolong (organic)$9.00 – $15.00
This organic Wuyi oolong has a smooth, rich body with a classic roasted aroma and sweet finish, accented by notes of raisin sugar, honeysuckle and roasted barley. Some say it exudes notes of dark chocolate!
