The Lover's Leap / Mahagastota Estate is located in the foothills directly below the Lovers Leap waterfall in Nuwara Eilya district. Lover's Leap gets its name from the tragically romantic legend of two forbidden lovers who ended their lives by jumping into the abyss.
Lovers’ Leap teas are known for their delicate and elegant characteristics. Rich flavour such as this result from quality leaf produced in the dry season. Upon steeping, the liquor imparts bright citrus notes with a pleasant astringency, thanks to prevailing winds from the lush UVA side that transports fruity, citrusy scents across the miles.  One may find this to be a delightful cup of fruity sunshine!
