This natural fermented Pu’er tea was handcrafted in Yunnan Province, the birth place of tea in the world. The leaves are collected from the old, tall Pu’er tea trees, lending greater “chi”; this is said to make the tea very long lasting, smooth and milky, more so than teas made from younger trees.

This Pu’er cake tea was made by the Tea Master in limited quantity; it is considered a very special and rare type of puer. The leaves are strong and thick, silver needles can be found throughout in the cake. The liquor is a bright like yellow gold, scent is like orchid, taste like honey. After a sip, the taste of the nature is irresistible, with a strong feeling of energy from the nature. Each cake is 200g.

Zhang Lang Sheng Puer (raw)$32.00
This unfermented “sheng” or “raw” puer cake comes from the remote villages of Yunnan and is produced by the Bulang minority. Powerful, with strains of easy, sweet tangs, this puer is well enjoyed while still green, and is also great for aging (Summer 2014). A mild tea that grows a bit and develops with each infusion, it is one whose tones come with some powerful vegetal blasts of the famed soil of this remote region. Each cake weighs approximately 100g.
